Basic activity, i.e. the heart of the YourJob project is career guidance and counseling, characterized by the individual approach to each young person on their path to employment. The young people pointed out, as the most important aspects of YourJob project, the kindness, constant availability, and dedication of our guidance counselors (GC). Thus, it is a unique approach focused on the person, where the proposed individual plan is aligned with the needs, desires and capabilities of each candidate.
“After graduation, I couldn’t find a job for a long time. I had several consultations with my GC Lidia who helped me decide what would be most effective for me to focus on. I chose a job of a real estate agent and I have already begun with training. This should give me the opportunity to work and earn for living in my town. I have never thought about this job, but after counseling I realized that could be the right thing for me, considering my personality and situation on the market”, said Vanja Zobenica, our young benficiary from Ruma.
