In this period of Covid 19 pandemic, we are all one team, regardless of nationality, religion, skin color…. We all fight on the same side. In order to win this fight, it is necessary for each individual to show responsibility and solidarity and to contribute.

Migrants residing in reception centers in Vranje, Bujanovac and Principovac represent a real example of responsibility and solidarity. Those with tailoring and sewing skills were given the opportunity to actively participate in the fight against the spread of the virus and to help people with whom they share their destiny. Each day, in these three reception centers, these skilled and hardworking people sew around hundred protective masks for other migrants, as well as for the employees in the reception centers. Caritas provided sewing machines and fabrication material for protective mask for camps in Vranje and Principovac, while materials for the camp in Bujanovac were provided by the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration Republic of Serbia (KIRS).
