Creative activities for children in Bujanovac Reception Center

One of the Caritas activities visited by a large number of children housed in Bujanovac Reception Center is the “Artistic corner”. Within this workshop, children have the opportunity to develop their creative spirit by making various figures and decorations of plastic, cardboard and color paper.

In addition to this workshop three times a week, Caritas organizes drawing lessons, on which children learn how to make more complex drawings with basic shapes. These classes are very popular among children, who often come with their parents, so the workshop turns into a true family fun.

Part of the creative activities is the learning of English, where through play and entertainment children learn basic concepts and words, which can be related to the topic of the creative workshop. Our experience has shown that children very quickly manage to master English in this way because they see it as a game, not as an obligation.

The arrival of the spring and the beautiful weather made all the camp residents spend more time outdoors, so that part of Caritas’ activities are carried out in the open, through various sports-recreational games.

Animation animation activities in Bujanovac are conducted within the framework of a project financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany and Caritas Germany.
